We have some news!

Though Gimli was upset to learn we would not be fostering puppies, we are very excited to announce that we should very soon be licensed foster parents.

We started this process last February after our miscarriage, and are very hopeful that we are almost finished. We cannot wait to share our home with a baby who needs us, for however long that may be.

And don’t worry. Gimli will come around. He likes babies.

As excited as I am to share our foster care journey with you, I do have to let you know that foster care comes with a lot of rules. If we want to be open about the fact that we are foster parents (and we do) then we cannot share the face or name of the little ones that come into our care. We also cannot share personal details about the babies. That being said, I am still excited to go on this incredible journey, and we will be as open as we can about this plunge into parenthood.

I hope to be back soon with the happy news that we have taken a placement. Until then, thank you all for your constant love and support.
